Future Seed connects youth and adults with caring mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and lived experience to support personal growth, confidence, and life navigation. We believe meaningful mentorship is rooted in trust, consistency, and authentic relationships. Through these connections, individuals gain perspective, encouragement, and support as they navigate important life transitions and opportunities.


Mentorship Experiences

Future Seed offers structured mentorship experiences designed to meet individuals at different stages of life while creating opportunities for meaningful connection, practical learning, and personal growth.
 

GEMS Program

The GEMS Program (Generations Engaged in Mentorship & Success) is an intergenerational mentorship experience that brings youth and adults together through shared learning, guidance, and lived experience. GEMS focuses on building meaningful relationships across generations that encourage personal growth, wisdom sharing, practical learning, and life navigation.

iRISE ​

iRISE is a structured mentorship and readiness program designed specifically for high school juniors and seniors as they prepare for the transition from high school into adulthood.
 

Through mentorship, practical learning, career and workforce exposure, and skill-building experiences, participants develop the knowledge, confidence, and tools needed to navigate life beyond graduation. Students engage with mentors, professionals, employers, and community leaders who provide guidance, encouragement, and real-world perspective while helping them strengthen practical life skills, explore career pathways, and make informed decisions about their next steps.

iRISE participants engage in structured experiences that may include:

  • Mentorship and relationship building

  • Practical life skills and independent living preparation

  • Career exploration and industry exposure

  • Workforce readiness and professional skills

  • Financial literacy and money management

  • Leadership and personal development

  • Community engagement

  • Industry-recognized certifications and skill-building opportunities
     

Through iRISE, participants strengthen decision-making skills, expand their professional networks, gain practical knowledge, and build greater confidence in navigating adulthood. Whether their next step is employment, college, technical training, entrepreneurship, military service, or another pathway, iRISE helps students prepare to move forward with greater knowledge, confidence, and direction.
